Job Seeker

Job Seeker Pathfinder

The sources below have been grouped by the steps of self-assessment, self-training, job hunting, applications and networking, resumes, and interviewing, as well as federal jobs/transitioning from military.  The sources may be useful for steps beyond the group they are introduced in, but are included where the primary focus of the source is, or the group in which the source is most useful and timely.

Many books for job seekers are housed in a separate Vocational Guidance (VG) collection.  Any call number that does not start in VG is likely in the adult nonfiction section.  If you cannot find a book, check its status in the public catalog (OPAC), place a hold on it in the catalog, or ask a librarian for assistance.
